Monthly Marketing Update- September 2025

I really can’t believe it is September already, or even that it is 2025. This year has flown by so far. As we prepare for fall, many of us are planning our 2026 budgets, conference schedules, etc. Please ensure that you are advocating for the Retirement Connection Guide and CareAvailability.com to be included in your 2026 budgets. These resources do not exist without support from local providers.

The guide is used by so many local hospitals, Area Agencies on Aging, DHS offices, and the Alzheimer’s Association. As much as we love seeing the guide in the community, we are able to keep these resources in the community because of the support of local providers. Thank you! Please return the favor by referring to our sponsors when possible, and let them know you found their listings in the guide and online.

If you know a senior living or care provider, please encourage them to always update their grid information in the guide. Families do call us when listings are incorrect or if pricing is outdated. We hear from the public frequently, and they rely on our guide for their family planning and care needs, so updated information is very important.

For the sponsors that are joining us for the Three Rivers Hospital  Case Management Resource Fair- please note the date was rescheduled for September 11!!! I have sent an email to all of those registered.

ChatBot Update - helping users find Providers as easily as possible
As mentioned last month, we're finalizing a comprehensive ChatBot to be installed on the site in just a few weeks. This will become a key feature for families to find care and connect with Providers as easily as possible.

Visitors will be able to ask the ChatBot direct questions to quickly determine the type of care they need. They can then provide their city and state, and the ChatBot can send them directly to a search in their area to find the available services needed. Users will also be able to type in Provider names and cities to be taken directly to Provider profile pages - meaning maximized exposure and traffic for Providers.

We're excited to keep facilitating the user to provider experience, and to make this connection as direct as possible. Remember, there are no referral fees, and we list the Provider's DIRECT phone numbers.
Providers: Remember to keep your contact information and availability updated regularly to make sure the public can find your listing!
Any questions? We would love any feedback!

Contact support@careavailability.com if you have any questions about optimizing your listing.

On the Move

Do you know someone that has recently changed positions? Send us an update to share in the monthly newsletter, helping everyone stay connected and informed about community changes. We include your name, company, and photo so others in the industry can connect with you.
Nugget Of Knowledge
"In some extremely important ways, people are what you expect them to be, or at least behave as you expect them to behave." ~ Naomi Weisstein

When we interact with others, sometimes it is best to set aside our internal thoughts to really listen to their message. Not to filter through our existing perceptions or listen to validate what we already believe. Not to reply with what we believe, but instead to ask more questions. Start from a place of curiosity, not judgment.
