Portland/Vancouver Monthly Marketing Update- August 2023
We still have a bit of time before the deadline for the next edition of Retirement Connection comes out in 2024, but this is a great time to reserve your ad space to ensure we are included in next year’s budget. Also, by reserving early, you can break out the payments for more flexibility. Additionally, you will have priority for hospital events before non-sponsors.
We continue to schedule and host resource fairs at the
local hospitals. At this time Legacy is not yet allowing these large events, but we are moving forward with the others in the area. Our team has been able to schedule staff training at Legacy and Kaiser Hospitals. The hospital case managers are using Retirement Connection Guides and also using CareAvailability.com. We look forward to adding more resource fairs as each hospital opens up more for larger events, but please know that we are always working behind the scenes to benefit our
sponsors. We hope you can join us Tomorrow for the Transitions of Care Hospital Case Management & Provider Meeting at 11:30 am on ZOOM. The goal of this meeting is to improve communication between hospital case management and community providers. This ZOOM call provides thirty minutes of
engagement with hospital case management staff, followed by 15 minutes of provider discussion if needed. Last month we had 115 attendees on this call!

This month we will cover Case Management Week details.
Is your listing on CareAvailability presentation ready? Why do we ask? We have spent the past month presenting the site to countless case management/discharge planning teams at various hospitals, and we really want to showcase your listing! However, YOU need to be sure you are updating regularly! If you have not updated, you are not appearing in the search results when we show hospital teams how to find local availability. Help us help you! Please reach out to support@careavailability.com with questions.
Do you know someone that has recently changed positions? Send us an update to share
in the monthly newsletter, helping everyone stay connected and informed about community changes. We include your name, company, and photo so others in the industry can connect
with you.

“The sorrow we feel when we lose a loved one is the price we pay to have them in our lives.” ―Rob Liano
My husband passed away last month after a long battle with Cancer. Although it is a very harsh adjustment to no longer have in our lives, the memories with him are worth the loss we feel today. We are not just feeling the void of his presence, but all of the future experiences he will not be a part of: kid's graduations, future weddings, celebrations, family trips, or his
daily words of wisdom. The loss we feel is a testament to the legacy he leaves and his lifelong contributions.
