Puget Sound
Monthly Marketing Update- January 2026
Happy New Year!
We have about 45 days until we wrap up the next annual edition of the Retirement Connection Guide for Puget Sound. Barret has been meeting with our current sponsors, Meghan will begin sending ad approvals for upcoming sponsors this month, and Ashton will start calling on home care and senior living providers to verify grid listings. Because of our sponsors’ support, the guide, website, and all networking events remain free to the community. Last year, we coordinated several case management resource fairs, including Valley Medical, EvergreenHealth, and Providence Everett. It’s always rewarding to see these connections strengthen our local care network. Please feel free to share any edits you believe would be helpful, and we greatly appreciate any introductions to help us grow our network.
Tomorrow, we’re hosting a free informational webinar on how online search has shifted. Discussion points include: nearly 60% of searches end without a click, AI summaries increasingly appearing on senior-care searches, and families making faster decisions based on first impressions. We’re expecting strong engagement, with more than 100 RSVPs already registered. Additional details are included below.
As we settle back in after the holidays, this is a natural time to refocus, reconnect, and reset. Please take a moment to bring past-due accounts up to date, organize priorities, and respond to outstanding emails as we all get back into the swing of things. And if you’re already on top of it all, consider reviewing areas for improvement, fine-tuning your systems, and starting the year organized and up to date.

Update to Home-Based Care Search Results
To better serve both providers and families, Home Health, Home Care, and Hospice search results are now limited to the state in which the provider is located. This update was made in response to feedback from providers and families using the site and helps ensure more relevant, accurate results when searching for care.

"What the new year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the new year." ~ Vern McLellan
A new year offers possibilities, but it’s our mindset and our choices that determine how those possibilities unfold. Our actions AND our reactions- set the tone for everything that follows. When we bring intention, resilience, and accountability into each day, the year will respond in kind. So don’t wait for momentum to find you. Decide what you will bring, how you will show up, and what you will create. Your commitment is the catalyst that turns hope into progress.
