Southern Oregon Monthly Marketing Update- April 2026
The newest edition of the Retirement Connection Guide is almost ready for print. Over the past several weeks, our team has connected with every housing and home care provider in the valley to update grid listings and gather updated ad content from our sponsors. We are now in the final week of preparation before the guide goes to print. Because this guide is only printed once a year, this is the final opportunity to submit any updates or corrections to your listing or advertisement. It is also the last chance to reserve ad space for this edition.
To celebrate the release, we invite you to join us for our Release Party on May 21st. This is our largest networking event of the year, with more than 100 professionals expected to attend. You do not need to be a sponsor to join us, so feel free to bring colleagues and referral partners. We kindly ask that you RSVP so we can plan accordingly for food and beverages.
We will also be hosting a Roseburg Happy Hour on May 28th and would love to see you there. It is a great opportunity to connect in a more casual setting and continue building relationships within the community. RSVP

"Hearing is listening to what's said. Listening is hearing what isn't said" ~ Simon Sinek
The difference between passively receiving words and actively tuning into what someone means, needs, or feels. I often struggle not to chime in with a response, even when I'm genuinely listening, because I want to add value. But I've learned that sometimes the only thing someone needs is to feel heard - not solved, not advised, just heard. Real understanding requires mutual exchange - both people genuinely absorbing what's being said and what is NOT. When we do that, we finally notice the hesitation, the shift in tone, the topic they keep circling back to. That's where breakthrough moments happen.
